Twenty years after Darcy and Elizabeth marry we find they have five daughters of marriagable age. While the parents are away the daughters begin a London season and all become involved in various scandals and Drama. So much drama for this reader! Still, it was an entertaining read.

panThis book is AWFUL. The characters are all stupid, nothing follows what was set up in Pride and Prejudice, and the plot makes very little sense. How in the world could Darcy and Elizabeth raise 5 stupid daughters? When did Fitzwilliam become a pervert and hate lively women (like Elizabeth)? How in the world would Lydia end up marrying a super rich and high ranking man AND have NO children? Stupidest P&P story I‘ve read. -3 stars
panThis delved too much into the darker sides of Regency England for me. One of the things I like about Jane Austen‘s works and characters is that she doesn‘t do that. Too much scandal for me 😕
