These will definitely be the last Nevil Shute books I read. Pied Piper isn‘t as bad as the last one in terms of racism and terminology, still a bit white savior-y for me.
An Old Captivity is definitely a skip. He‘s back to all of his racism and sexism, but with a bit of a magical realism twist I wasn‘t expecting from him.
