BookNAround I used to teach this one and my youngest played John Proctor in a production two years ago. He hates this play so I just chuckled when he had to read it this year for school. (I think it‘s masterful but he doesn‘t care what I think. 😉) 6y

#OctoberPutASpellOnYou Day 31: The part that really interested me the most was the mummification. The entire process seemed very meticulous and painstaking. There is a great deal of prayer thrown in, with the priest officiating the entire procedure, chanting off prayers from the Book of the Dead containing “magic spells to help the deceased journey to the afterlife.” Very #IPutASpellOnYou vibe.
