Cocaine Blues (Phryne Fisher, #1) | 
pickPhryne is a fun character to follow throughout the book, though at times she's too eccentrically casual. But she's clever and entertaining for the most part. What's nice is her skill in investigating and taking control of situations in ways that are as real as they are smart. I also enjoyed the supporting characters quite a bit. The mysteries themselves tied together in a way that was interesting, if a little neat.
