This wasn‘t my favourite book ever but it ends up being a pick because it has such a creepy, unsettling atmosphere. The crew of the Ea arrive back at their home planet to discover that the entire population has been wiped out by disease. They then need to figure out how this may have been linked to the galaxy-ruling Nexus and what to do next.

Now I‘m off to finish planting my bedding plants, which you better believe I do barefoot.

#tbrbingo update for May! Grey is for stuff I read in previous months. I‘m one book behind and I anticipate that I‘ll fall further behind as I read more of the #modernlibrarytop100 books that I didn‘t put on this bingo card. Should be finishing the tagged book soon and finding out what the next #bookclub selection will be!

I had to go in for an outpatient procedure yesterday so today I‘m off work, on the couch, reading up a storm.

I‘d prefer if this were just a normal day off, but I‘ll take what I can get.
