3.5 ⭐️ parts of the book were really good and the story line kept me interested.
I found this book to be a bit all over the place. I liked it ok enough but I had a hard time really enjoying it.
Day 28: MyTown
I‘m narrowing this to specifically my community. Some other mom at our homeschool co-op left this for today, and it brought tears to my eyes. I love teaching English. I love the classes for my kids. But what I kept coming back for is this wonderful community of women who love and support each other.
This isn‘t a book I‘d typically pick up for myself, but I will read it with gratitude.

The only reason I read this is because it was a book club pick. It felt like reading an assignment and now I'm wondering if I want to continue in my book club! Lol.
It did have its moments and a few good quotes interspersed, and I do love my book club ladies. It wasn't a 'horrible' book, but I sure am glad it's over. I think I just need to feel more free in choosing not to read a book I'm not excited about reading. Life's too short!

"The pain of a hard good-bye is the heart's tribute to the privilege to love."
"I've got so much spinning in my head right now, it's about to hurl my wig into the neighbor's yard like a Frisbee."

This one seems a bit different than my usual read. So here‘s hoping it‘s amazing 😉
"The pain of a hard goodbye is the heart's tribute to the privilege to love." Beth Moore
Loved this story. It's so full of wisdom & all that comes when the story takes place in N'awlins.
Christian fiction, but edgier than I expected from this author. A bit disjointed, but a very satisfying read for the mystery/suspense reader in me.
