And if we must survive,
which means we must write,
I‘ll weave you into a poem,
this art of quilting words.
I think that‘s the closest thing
I will ever feel to love.

This was a lovely collection of poetry by a two-spirited Indigenous trans woman. It's powerful and gritty and sweet and all other unnameable things that make up meaningful poetry. #transbooks #2spiritbooks #poetry

a berry smoothie, some cold brew coffee, & a few books - these are all poetry collections that I've been reading over the last few weeks - let the reading for the day begin 📖
I only manged to read 4 hours yesterday - though I did start & finish a book & read a bit of another - so I won't get anywhere near 24, but still going to get as much reading in as I can today #24in48

I didn‘t have much of an appetite at lunch but I had to eat SOMETHING, so I paired a sorta-ploughman‘s plate with some excellent poetry.

This week‘s library haul includes two poetry collections and more XXXHOLIC. I wanted more SILVER SPOON, too, but the volumes the catalogue swore were on the shelf were nowhere to be found. I sure hope they were in someone‘s to-borrow stack, not stolen.
