I've only read one of the illustrated editions- the first a few years ago - so I decided to put them all on hold so I could do a reread this fall & they were all available for me to pick up yesterday & I'm excited to read these over the next several weeks

Its pie week on the semi final of the great canadian baking show - not as popular as the british original but still fun to watch, I've also got lots of snacks & planning on reading some more of this book later as well

just picked up a few more holds at the library so decided to make a stack of all the library books I have out at the moment ^ I'm in the middle of reading a few but at least I will have lots to chose from when I'm done - Burn It Down sounds interesting & I feel like I should read The Water Dancer soon as well because it will likely take me a while to be able to check it out again.

merelybookish This library stack makes me feel better about mine. 😂 2w

I've been reading this one at lunchtime every day this week, but still have just over half to read - so far I'm enjoying it though & am excited to pick it back up.
I've made myself a late lunch so I can keep reading - I've already finished one graphic novel & one poetry collection & have some errands to run later but want to get as much reading in as possible first.

I have my book open but I'm a bit preoccupied by watching election coverage so I doubt I will actually get much reading in tonight

MelissaSue81 About what time do you usually learn the results? 3w
Erin01 @MelissaSue81 - I just saw your comment, they stagger the polling times so it wasn't too late when we found out but I ended up staying up a bit later than that to hear all the commentary and such 3w

I just picked up Erosion at my library yesterday & I'm excited to get started with it + hopeing to finish at least one of these this weekend - I'm about halfway through in at least two of them & don't have much planned this weekend so I think this goal should be achievable 😃📖📚

I am in the middle of so many books right now that I had to make sure I had marked them all as currently reading on goodreads so I could visualize them all. I'm hoping to get at least one of these finished today / early this week though - some of these library loans will expire soon & I know it will be awhile till I have the chance to borrow them again

I would say I had a pretty successful #reversereadathon - especially since I found out about it last minute (I was already planning on reading a bunch this weekend so it worked out). I read for about 12 hours (approx) & got these books read (& only The Hating Game is a reread)

blurb

saw this book was available from my library & decided I felt like rereading it, & I'm gald I did because I love rereading books I've enjoyed in the past 😃

I would call my self an environmentalist & nature person (who loves a big city & great transit system), so this stance intially surprised me a bit, but then got me even more interesting in reading this because for people to realize the importance of taking climate change & the impact of warming seriously it might need to come from this perspective

reading this one for a book club,
I think I must have read this sometime when I was younger or watched a movie version but don't actually recall ever doing either.
anyways, I think this will be a good book to get back into reading this morning for the #reversereadathon

just found out about deweys #reversereadathon earlier this evening, but luckily I I was aleady hoping to get some extra reading in this weeked so it actually works out - I've been finding that I'm always super busy when I plan them out in advance & never get as much read as I hoped so I'm really feeling this low key readathon 📚📚📚

blurb

sometimes when you place holds super early (as in months before they come out) you end up at the top of the holds list - however, I don't think I've ever picked up my holds for a book on its release day but I'm not going to complain about having it earlier than expected 😃📖📚

a berry smoothie, some cold brew coffee, & a few books - these are all poetry collections that I've been reading over the last few weeks - let the reading for the day begin 📖
I only manged to read 4 hours yesterday - though I did start & finish a book & read a bit of another - so I won't get anywhere near 24, but still going to get as much reading in as I can today #24in48
