bailedOomph. I usually really like Krentz‘s stories - a good mix of suspense and romance with sometimes a dash of magical realism - but this one, nope. Originally published in #1983 , let‘s just say that it would not be published now (thoughts in the comments - it‘s a massive TW):
I tried to listen to the whole story, but I just could not. Take my advice - don‘t bother with this one.
Librarybelle Within the first hour of listening, the lead MC claimed the female MC repeatedly begged him to rape her. Yes, he literally says he asked her to rape him. Yet, somehow, she decides a few days later to sleep with him. I don‘t get it. Even more, the next morning, he claims she is his now, he owns her. That was the last straw. Sorry JAK…this is my least favorite of yours. 9mo
