Despite my mother in law‘s best efforts, I‘ve never really been a true crime sort of gal. The true part of it has always freaked me out, long after I‘m done reading. However, many years ago I read (and watched) this story and it really intrigued me. Also, the update after the actual story is almost as creepy as the story itself. #truecrime #litsyclassics

I don't do a lot of #truestories, especially ones that are crime related. They just freak me out too much. But both this book and its movie really grabbed me as a kid. It was especially sad because even after Steven was free, he still died an untimely death. #riotgrams
