Only 13 out of 100 (sigh). But better than last week. 😆
I'm tagging 1984 because I thought it would be on the list but wasn't.

1. Daisy, sounds happy.

3. Olive (as in the other reindeer)

1. Groggy, just waking up. It takes a little awake time for my head to clear.
2. I'm going to a presentation on pressure canning beans today. Ridiculously looking forward to it. 😀
I just finished The Midnight Library. It was a slow start for me but once I realized it was all about your mental health it became quite powerful to me. I am going to buy a used copy to highlight the heck out of it.

6 out of 100. I think I did even worse this time. And I thought I read a lot of classics.

Next up for IRL movie/book club but so far it's hard to get into.
From what I can remember:
1. Lonesome Dove (set/4) 2687 pgs
2. Kristen Lavansdatter (set/3) 1144 pgs
3. Gone With the Wind 959 pgs
4. But the ultimate set would be Harry Potter (set/7) which I don't know the total pgs. 😀

3⭐. I enjoy reading this authors books because they are set very close to home and she uses so many local places in her stories. I didn't like as much the main character and the chimpanzee being raised together and being cruelly but necessarily split up.

I started out this morning in Timbuktu. By the late afternoon I was in Northern California. But now having bailed on that, I am sitting in lovely weather in my dark backyard wondering where to go next.

Such a sweet book from my childhood.

I had to bail after 50 pgs. I chose it because It was apocalyptic and set in California, two of my favorite genres. I looked at reviews before I quit and it didn't look like it was ever going to go anywhere.
But this particular cover is beautiful.
One of my favorite. #BkBasedonPainting.

1. Yes, probably 1000. (We were homeschoolers.)
2. The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I had no idea the book (and movie) were so good.

Great day! Canceled therapy because I didn't want to talk about issues. Meditated, read a book on grief, and went to Starbucks instead.
