My boyfriend and I have been doing a blog project where we listen to a record we love and match it with a new recipe! This week, to combat the mental health catastrophe that has been the past few days, we went with something lemon light and full of sunshine. (The band is called The Weepies, but it's happy music, I promise!) Hope you check it out and enjoy!

An inspirational story about the value of friendship. Lightly and appropriately introduces and discusses cancer. Such a good read!

gergana08 The Lemonade Club looks like a great book. I think this book will be great to use in the classroom to cover important Hong‘s that kids experience such as the importance of friendships. 5y
DeniseR I can see how this is book is relevant as it introduces a health issue in a child. However, I think such books are needed to soften these topics at times to approach them in the classroom. I can also see a literature circle being done on health issues as a whole through the eyes of children. A good class and/or independent read. #UCFSU19 5y
