First post in here! 🙈🧡 Currently reading The Bhagavad Gita. Religion is something I‘ve always been deeply fascinated by, and over the years I‘ve studied various religions: mostly Christianity, Buddhism, and various forms of Paganism. Hinduism has been something I have always wanted to study, but I never knew where to start! I had a lovely conversation with some customers last week, and they gifted me this to help me get started. How sweet!! 💓

Mitch Welcome to the wonderful world of Litsy - a great place to get involved with book clubs, swaps and themed events all with wonderful bookish folk! Hope you enjoy! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 5y

I have read several versions of the Bhagavad Gita, but it wasn't until my yoga teacher training that I was steered toward this version. This "Walk-Through for Westerners" delivers exactly what it advertises. It's a translation written in no-nonsense, modern western language and is wonderful for group discussions and classroom settings. Jack Hawley was obviously very dedicated to accuracy in content translation. Great job.
