Curious about this book about a bridesmaid on the run :)

I love a super cheesy rom com book. This one started a little slow and incredibly cringey, but by the end I was loving it. Edie accidentally snogs the groom at a coworkers wedding. So she's exiled to her hometown to ghostwrite the autobiography of a 'Game Of Thrones With The Serial Numbers Removed' heart-throb. Shenanigans ensure.
On Book Riot today, I recommend books for Anglophiles and homesick Brits. http://bookriot.com/2016/12/16/book-for-the-wannabe-brit-in-your-life/ 🇬🇧
Absolutely loved this. Another brilliant book from Mhairi McFarlane!
(Read last week) Marian Keyes & Mhairi McFarlane are my favourite Rom Com writers, hands down. I preordered this as a post-viva treat: great characters, excellent dialogue & love McFarlane's commitment to set stories outside of London! Also related in A Big Way to part of plot. So that was fun 😏
A THOUSAND TIMES YES TO THIS BOOK! This cemented Mhairi McFarlane as my fave contemporary author. She just perfectly captures what it's like to be a woman, a single woman, today. She knows how to make you laugh and cry and feel. If you're thinking about reading Eligible, I'd recommend this instead.
