The Mysterious Affair At Styles (#christiescapers), I just started it last night but I‘ll be able to finish it. This book mentioned Sherlock Holmes in the first chapter. I thought that was interesting.

I was sold when this was advertised as a book series similar to the Earth‘s Children series, and it is indeed similar to that though different enough to stand on its own right. Thankful to Kindle Unlimited for allowing me access to the first four books. #currentlyreading

I currently have 2 hours of free time to read. YAY!!And that's in the library. The last time I read in the library was when I was a student, but I read professional books. My daughter has signed up for creative workshops at the library and I can read in peace while I wait for her. It is raining outside. For me, this is a great afternoon after a hard day's work.

I got a lot from my previous read of #Genji, so I thought I would reread for the #Reading1001 yearlong read this year by listening to the Washburn translation. It‘s interesting how I‘ve forgotten so many details, but then hear sections that immediately seem so familiar.

Started re-reading Interview with the Vampire last night. Sometimes a re-read is the reset my brain needs to get out of a slump. I haven‘t read this in 20-ish years so I‘m curious how it‘s gonna hold up. Especially now that the TV series (a masterpiece) exists and improves on (while simultaneously respecting) the book.
