View our feature on Douglas Hulick's Among Thieves. Drothe has been a member of the Kin for years, rubbing elbows with thieves and murderers in the employ of a crime lord while smuggling relics on the side. Pickpick

Series of books set in the underworld of a fantasy universe; thieves cutthroats and assassins, ala the Lies of Locke Lamora. Drothe our viewpoint character is a mid rank "nose" or spy who suddenly finds himself in possession of an item which half the city including his own people will kill to obtain

Oblomov26 One of the things that I enjoyed about this series is that the author is a practitioner of historical European martial arts which adds an authenticity to the fight sequences lacking in many fantasy novels. 8y
Ellsbeth The Lies of Locke Lamora is a great read. If this is similar, I need to check it out. Thanks! 8y
