Just a few books I've picked up over the past few months. Logging them now into my library catalog now to put them away.
I'm slowing down now on book collecting as I've actually run out of space and I think I have enough books to last me the rest of my days. Any books in the future will have to be pretty special (or cheap, lol) to make it on my existing stacks (not shelves 😁)
1415 is my current collection of novels.

My local library posts three must read lists every year, one for elementary and middle school and one for seniors. I have decided to start posting the books off of these lists to share with you all. This is the first book on the Must Read Seniors List. I haven‘t read it but it looks really good, and they even made it into a film. The cover of the book fits the title perfectly. I would love to know who has read this!

DivineDiana I have heard of this! Not brave enough to read. Self amputation is more than I can handle, but what a strong young man! 6y
KellyHunsakerReads The movie was good but tough to watch! 6y
Moony Oh yes the movie was really emotional. I don't know if I could read the book. 6y
Lcsmcat I couldn‘t read the book. The news stories at the time were graphic enough. (We lived in Utah at the time.) My husband read it, and warned me that I should probably not because of how much detail there was. 6y

I try to alternate between fiction and nonfiction books. I Just finished Insomnia by Stephen King so nonfiction is up next.
I'll be reading Between a Rock and A Hard Place which is the story behind the 127 Hours movie, which I haven't seen.

I am always looking for nonfiction recommendations though!

Chelleo So many good non-fiction. Have you read 6y

My non reader just finished this one, so we watched the movie: 127 hours. That movie was crazy!

slategreyskies I did a quick Google search, because I thought you meant that the movie was 127 hours long! Haha 😂 7y
