Secret History of the World
Secret History of the World | Mark Booth
In this groundbreaking and now famous work, Mark Booth embarks on an enthralling tour of our world's secret histories. Starting from a dangerous premise-that everything we've known about our world's past is corrupted, and that the stories put forward by the various cults and mystery schools throughout history are true-Booth produces nothing short of an alternate history of the past 3,000 years From Greek and Egyptian mythology to Jewish folklore, from Christian cults to Freemasons, from Charlemagne to Don Quixote, from George Washington to Hitler- Booth shows that history needs a revolutionary rethink, and he has 3,000 years of hidden wisdom to back it up.

Read at the end of 2019. This book is printed in two authors names, both identical, one by Jonathan Black and the other by Mark Booth -- who are the same person.
I would probably classify this book in an "Occult history" section. Very good read, and if you like non-fiction books that you can stem research from, this ones for you.

Interesting #currentlisten so far. I recommend it to anyone who loves American Gods and would like to delve into a non-fiction book that covers some of the same concepts.

This is an interesting read, though a little convoluted in parts. I'm a sucker for a pretty cover though, especially tactile bindings with indented fonts 💕

Reading and watching and drinking. I've had my eye on this book for ages and finally got to take it home. A little bit more "out there" than I'm used to but I never back down from a challenge or a chance to think outside the box. Plus this sounds mighty interesting.
