This was an *excellent* book about how Trump's rise to power intersects with changes in TV/media. The writer posits that Trump's popularity is strengthened by the emergence of multiple niche TV and social media spaces, his history as a "reality show" host centred on ego and aggression, and shifts in how we define "truth," and that he's focused on feeding his own ego via media attention more than the common good.
