This is a great biography to add to the classroom about a country star that grew up “poor as dirt“. It would be a great addition because it shows that you can be whom ever you want as long as you work for it.

This is another great title in this series. This time we look at the legend Dolly Parton. This is just a flash of her life. At times I find it overly simple. It focuses on her music career and starting the Imagination Library, but mentions nothing about acting. Overall I think it‘s a great introduction, I just with there was more of it.
