What a wonderful story to share the culture of the Sunderbans Islands of West Bengal. Neel must help find a missing tiger cub before a local poacher does.

Mitali Perkins‘ socially conscious children‘s fiction is consistently good. This one, set in the forested Sunderbans area of Bengal, also has themes of environmentalism, personal responsibility, integrity and greed. #Audiobook narrator Sunil Malhotra (Behind the Beautiful Forevers; Eleanor & Park; The Lowland) is always a treat. An excellent choice for family listening and discussion, Grade 2 and up.
