reading Amber books for fun and no profit. This one is in pretty rough shape, but it's not its fault, it's older than I am.

I am happy to say that this one definitely was as fun and engaging to read as installments one and two. Three was definitely more of a transitional book which kind of dragged but after this one I'm more immersed in the world and ready to hit up the final installment. All the main players are still kind of d bags but I somewhat cares what happens to them and that's kind of conflicting lol.

I‘m on a Zelazny kick today, I guess! One of the most dysfunctional families ever? #siblings #SpringIntoReading @vkois88 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
“We were all of us, to some degree, mad after his fashion. To be honest, it had to be a form of madness, to have so much and to strive so bitterly for just a little more, for a bit of an edge over the others. He carried this tendency to its extreme, that is all. He was a caricature of this mania in all of us. In this sense, did it really matter which of us was the traitor?” #sibling #siblingrivalry #QuotsyApr19
“The enemy of the moment is not as important as our own inner weakness. If this is not mended we are already defeated, though no foreign conqueror stands within our walls.” #Defeat #QuotsyMarch18

"Distorted...but maybe not unwarranted..."
