What an incredible, inspiring, brave woman!
How amazing that she became paralysed yet STILL tried to follow her dreams of horse riding. I'm just sorry that in the end she did have to give up her love of horses but the strength and determination it must have taken her to try again was incredible!
It would be an honour to know this lady personally.

'Are you happy now? Are you likely to remain so till this evening? Or next week? Or next month? Then why destroy present happiness with distant misery, which may never come at all, or you may never live to sew it?'

'..Rupert Sheldrake the philosopher writes of the "Privelage of consciousness"- how we are probably the only species that knows we exist. An elephant knows how exactly to he an elephant-but we dont know how to be just a human being. We think outside the box. And maybe that's the trouble. So, with that privelage comes immense responsibility.'
