2 posts | 1 read | 2 to read
Jasmine s garden has the most delicious fruit in the village but someone is eating all her beautiful apples, apricots, kiwis, and kumquats. Determined to catch the thief, Jasmine waits . . . and waits. Little does she imagine that when he arrives, he ll lead her on a magical journey through the skies. Award-winning artist Jane Ray has created a vibrant, stunningly illustrated tale of greed, set in India."

Just reading… with an elephant. We scooted past a little free library on Worthing beach front today. He only made it to the next thing that looked something like a seat before he wanted to sit and start reading 😁

Nute I like everything about this post!💕 2y

Ray retells an Indian folktale about a young girl, her garden, a visiting elephant, and the elephant‘s magical garden. Beautiful illustrations add to the story perfectly. I was not familiar with this tale, so this was such a wonderful treat to read a tale originally from India. It was made me crave strawberries! Letter E for #BBRC #A2Z
