Why yes, I did create another mood board for this book. ? I was entertained for most of it, but the cardboard dialogue and cheesy "horror" scenes got old, plus a student/teacher 'romance 'that was constantly referred to as "providential"? Ugh.

The writing was aesthetically pleasing, the setting of a small coastal town was eerie and I loved the whales (makes more sense when you read the book...) I also liked the romance, though it was very very instalove, and I liked how for a chunk of the book it was student X teacher. Plot was mysterious and romantic, with a hint of paranormal. Ending was drawn out longer than it could have been, but actual epilogue was sweet and had a good HEA.

😶😶😶... what just happened? Literally finished this book a couple minutes ago and I am not sure how to feel about it 😂😂. The book has a fantasy thriller theme that got me completely hooked me up. It follows Cara a normal teenager in a fictive town called Liberty. Strange things (supernatural things) start to happen and everything seems to be linked to our main character. In other words, I loved it 🙌.

So this is happening. It's my third time through and it's amazing how they all make the same mistakes! It never gets easier either!
