pickI was a few books into this series before I realized there was a prequel, so now that I‘ve finished what‘s been published, I circled back to it. This is good entry point to meeting all the characters, and nice to see Molly and Emma meeting Pat for the first time. These are fun mysteries that get living in Hawaii right.

I wasn't aware of the cozy sleuth genre but Frankie has got me hooked. Relatable characters, smooth transitioning across chapters, gripping plot.
Really enjoying this & looking forward to seeing how it ends. The academic context is well done in a snarky sort of way.
She gets the local dialect pretty right as far as I know. Definitely heard people say "try sit" in Hawai'i ??
Love the idea of haupia cheesecake and especially the Hawai'ian setting for this cozy mystery!
