Bill Watterson is the J.D. Salinger of cartoonists, so Martell had his work cut out for him in trying to get an interview with him, a task that he failed to accomplish. Either way, his research is thorough and captivating, and just like Calvin & Hobbes itself, this biography is nothing short of magical.

keithmalek There were passages that I wanted to post on here, but unfortunately, the library only had it as an audiobook. I'll post more about this in the future. 4y
