“'Not by the hair of our chinny-chin-chins!' cried the three little pigs“.

I enjoyed reading this book because I have read this story many times. I have also read a story told from the perspective of the wolf. It is interesting to see how authors can use the same story but twist the details to make it a unique story. This would strike the imagination of children, they could rewrite another traditional literature story.

This is another great example of another classic of traditional literature. The three little pigs go to build houses but the little pigs are threatened by the wolf. The wolf tries to blow their house down to eat the pigs. This story has been retold many times.

“Smoke poured up the chimney, and the wolf got it all in his eyes. He ran back to the forest and nobody ever saw him again”. This is a very clean story of the Three Little Pigs and proves it would be very good to read to young children.

I would personally read this book to very young students, especially preschoolers. They wouldn‘t be too scared by the wolf and enjoy this light read.

Fables
This version is very light and clean. It doesn‘t describe the pigs killing the wolf, or overly explain the wolf trying to kill the pigs. The illustrations of the story are very bright and happy. This was a very easy and happy read.

I would use this book in my classroom because it's a classic and it has a lot of room to use expressive language while reading aloud.

The Three Little Pigs written by Bernadette Watts. I'm not sure this is the original “The Three Little Pigs“ but it's the classic storyline following the three little pigs and the big bad wolf. The plot is simple and direct and uses repetition in phrases. Illustrations make the book more lively and add character like when the wolf blows the house made out of straw.
