I think I forgot to post my April reads... while I‘m still behind on my goodreads challenge (LOL) - I‘m so happy with what I read - especially since I found such a time consuming show to fall head over heels for (Detective Anna on Prime)
pickI was eagerly awaiting this one! Another dual adventure with Heloise getting involved in the attempt to foil a high stakes bombing conspiracy which required going undercover first as a gentleman and then as a governess... while back home in London - a blackmail attempt on Heloise ends up snaring instead her maid with unexpected results.
Perfect Sunday evening after putting laundry away and sewing some of my pants that were a bit too big. Yesterday I went and got some Halloween snacks from Walgreens, since they were 50% off 😁. 🧺 🧵 👖
I usually don‘t read ebooks, but it‘s a #netgalley so I can‘t complain. A good mystery so far. 🙂👍🏽 📖

This is what our Halloween looked like yesterday, only with quite a bit more snow since it accumulated throughout the day. So we just stayed home and read all evening. Just living the dream in the Midwest. 😆
This book is pretty good. It‘s a historical mystery fiction. Heloise is quite the character. So far, so good. 🙂👍🏽
