pickIt‘s been a hot minute since I‘ve read a romance novel with this level of quality writing. I did feel that the romantic tension did somewhat wain which I put down to dialogue; straight off the bat the two main characters are openly flirting with one another. After a few scenes of this dynamic you‘re just left kind of wishing they‘d get on with it. Still worth the read and Hunting‘s writing style has helped restored my faith in the genre.
pickFirst nook finished for #24in4 Readathon. 2nd in series of hockey romances. I seriously loved this one between Bishop, who is a grumpy gives no clucks forward and RJ‘s little siste, Stevie. RJ and Bishop also don‘t like each other and there were issues between Stevie and Bishop in the beginning. I don‘t want to give any spoilers away but it all turns out great in the end! @Andrew65
I'm still up. I ended up going to the emergency room this evening with chest and arm pain, fearing the worst. But tests came out all good and I probably have a strained rib. The ER doctor said my aorta looks like a high schoolers, so that's the weirdest compliment I ever received. Anyway, settling my weird night with this ARC. #romantsy

It comes out winter of 2020. If you haven‘t read any of Helena hunting‘s books you should if you love romance novels.
