Tsunamis is a great non fiction book to use when you‘re conducting a lesson on weather. This book not only gives great facts about Tsunamis in general, but also explains and shows pictures of actual tsunamis that have happened around the world. The standard you could use this for is https://www.cpalms.org/Public/PreviewStandard/Preview/1609.

BRaulerson The UDL guideline I would used for this book is offer alternatives for visual information. I feel like the students will be more engaged with the topic when they see actual visuals of what a tsunami looks like and the damage it can do. The ESOL strategy I would use is using direct instruction. Modeling and explaining the tsunami using visuals will help the student to comprehend better. #UCFLAE3414F19 5y
DrSpalding Sadly, we have seen this extreme weather condition in the news! Excellent choice and again a helpful resource from the state. 5y
