Slow lemonade stand day. Noticed the kids came in and got library books without my noticing to read while they waited for customers 😍

“To survive, predators had to keep up. Their bodies got stronger and their senses grew keener. Their weapons - teeth, claws, beaks, and poison - became deadlier.“

I would use this book in my classroom as a way to spark interest of apex predators in the students which will allow me to create lesson plans based on these interests. The book was very informative as well.

Apex Predators: The World's Deadliest Hunters, Past and Present written by Steve Jenkins. Factual and statistical book about both modern day and extinct apex predators. This book is unique too because it shows the size comparison of these animals compared to a human being.

Apex Predators by Steve Jenkins was published in 2017. The book goes through a lot of different predators that eat other animals. It is a good lesson to teach the kids. It informs them on animals that might be dangerous. I also like the illustrations because the students can see large pictures of what the animals look like.

Apex Predators by Steve Jenkins, 2017. This book is pretty up to date only 2 years old. It talks about the most dangerous predators alive and dead. The images are super sharp and look real. I like how they put the heights of the animals compared to humans.

Few modern carnivores could compete with the size, power, and killing ability of many extinct hunters- the apex predators of the past.

I loved the cover of the book, all red with a T-rex looking like he is going to eat you. I liked how this book had many different facts about each predator.

I enjoyed this book because it has facts about all of the top predators with no natural predators. I like how the book had predators in modern day, in the past. This book has pronunciations for each predator, lengths, facts about what they ate/eat, and comparisons of large animals to humans for a visualization of how large they actually are/were.

I didn't exactly have a favorite part but instead my favorite thing is the illustrations they were so realistic but were not simply images.

I liked this book a lot. What I really enjoyed about it was that it showed animals from “today“ and “yesterday“ I also like the variance of animals from land to sea
