Skin white as snow, lips red as blood, and hair black as ebony. Think you know Snow White? Think again as the “evil” queen tells her side.

So. So. If I were rating this on art (explicit without being graphic), writing style (gorgeous), and concept (amazingly horrifying)? A+, 5 stars.

However, the incest and necrophilia were all too much for me right now. Just shows, I should read other reviews 1st. If that doesn‘t bother you, enjoy! 🌕🌕🌗🌑🌑

effani I felt the same way about this one - it was gorgeous and beautifully written and I never wanted to see or think about it again once I finished it. 5y

I was poking around Hoopla and found a number of “bonus borrows” that don‘t count against the monthly allotment. I was drawn to this Neil Gaiman retelling of Snow White, very chilling, with gorgeous artwork based on the style of a Harry Clarke.

This is very dark. I liked the storyline, however there was an overabundance of bazaar sexual content that kept me personally from fully enjoying it. The art though is stunning (pictured).
5/10 💫
