Pickpick

This is a hard book for me to rate. The heroine was not only raped but has to confront her rapist on 2 other occasions. I‘m not sure a regency romance is the best place to adequately deal with this issue. Plus, while the hero did help her in some ways (like teaching her to defend herself), I almost felt the end message was love will conquer all, which rings shallow & potentially harmful in the aftermath of a sexual assault.

Book 4 for #NutsInMay

Picked this one up from library thanks to the Smart Bitches/Dear Author podcast (which always add to my TBR pile). I also grabbed Blue Smoke by Nora Roberts thanks to the same episode. This one is up first though...
