The Copycat Killers | Paula Millhouse
1 post | 1 read
A girl with a past. An FBI agent who loves her. A race against time to a showdown to salvage their future.
Former FBI hostage negotiator Nick Franklin is falling hard for the love of his life – Evie Longfellow. He’s convinced her to wear his ring, to say yes to their future together.
But Evie’s got commitment issues. She’s terrified that something’s wrong, and as evidence begins to mount to prove her case against the shadowy people from her past, the last thing she wants is to put Nick and her new family in danger.
Tia Marino, a mafia princess from New York City, believes Evie murdered her father. She’s hunting her way across the country to flush Evie out so she can exact family justice. Tia’s delighted to discover how much murder suits her.
Nick’s not gonna have it. He’ll do anything to protect Evie and his family, even if it means joining forces with mafia hit man Tony Aiello in order to catch Tia.
In a race against time from the wilds of Vermont to a showdown on the streets of Manhattan, Nick and Evie must confront their greatest fears to stop the copycat killers.

Pickpick

I was very excited for this story because I was quite invested in what was taking place with Evie & Nick. They were both greatl characters who had overcome the odds to have a life together but I loved that in this story you could see what reality would bring for them once everything settled down. Overall, this was a riveting & suspenseful book with surprising twists that kept me engaged.
