so-soI wanted to love this book so much. I too am a Hungarian-Canadian who grew up in Ontario. My family also arrived (as refugees) because of 1956. I also have an uneasy relationship with my father and two siblings. And still. I wanted sharper edges and a story that felt more real. (And I wanted to know how Ben organized health insurance for the trip.) I think I read this book for the wrong reasons and then was disappointed it didn‘t have the answers
