Michael Ruhlman was allowed inside access to the curriculum of the CIA (culinary institute of America) in order to write this book. It was fascinating to read what chefs at this school go through to graduate. Plus I feel like a learned a lot. I'm going to have to check out the other books he has written.
This was the last of my chef/cooking memoirs because I eat too much when I'm reading them. (I definitely blame my meds. And I can't watch Top Chef! 😞😞) Anyway, I'm choosing this as my #readandeat because those two things are mutually exclusive for me. #somethingforsept
As a bonus, I learned how to make pasta more flavorful by really seasoning the water with herbs and plenty of salt!
