Welcome to PDX airport!
This book was so funny yet emotional in the best ways! The MC Bea is super relatable, her teenage thoughts are similar to mine and the plot was simple yet had a lot of elements to it. I loved Bea's character development, at first she has such a negative mindset but we see her change and become aware of others. The setting was great, I loved the small details of Purgatory. It was the ultimate story of closure, forgiveness and first love!
Layoverland was a book I really couldn't put down. It's an old cliche but compared with other recent read, I couldn't stop thinking about it and went out of my way to read it, finishing it way faster than I expected. I love stories about people trapped in places and seeing how they cope with the unfamiliar surroundings and the choices they make.

Bea is driving at night when she is in a accident. When she wakes up she is on a plane. What she doesn‘t know is that she is dead and on her was to layoverland aka purgatory. She finds out in order to go to heaven she has to help 5,000 soils figure out what‘s keeping them from moving on to heaven. What she doesn‘t expect is having to help Caleb the person who hit and killed her. I would love to see another book about Bea and her journey.
