After an Alice Feeney book hangover, (I binged all her books in a month) this was a great escape to another psychological thriller. Kept me on my toes at times and was just the kind of thriller I was looking for. And is it weird to say that I actually felt kind of sorry for Lydia?

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Finished my first book of #JoysofJune, and completed roughly 3 hours of reading so far. I don‘t think I will be getting much reading in today, however since I have a 16 hour day shift. During the overnight shifts, I‘m working solo, so I have my headphones in the whole time, but today I‘ll be working out front with patients, so no audiobooks for me 🙃 Packing my physical copy of The Guest List on the off chance that it‘s slow. @Andrew65

Clwojick As for this book, it was pretty good. I enjoyed the concept, though I‘m not sure how much of it will stick with me in the months to come. 3.5/5 4y

Isn't it crazy how it can be the ones we know and love can be the ones who can hurt us the most?

This wasn't as brilliant as The Wife Between Us, but it was still an engaging read. I never knew who the real bad guy was and whenever I tried to make up my mind about it, some new evidence came to light that change everything.
Up to the very end I was still on the fence.

My expectation might have been a bit to high, because I kept waiting for the shame shock to hit, as in The Wife Between Us; but it never came.

I really tried to finish this book. It was out of my norm. This was an audible also. I got to chapter 30 and had to stop. It just seemed to drag out. This doesn‘t help my goal this week. 🤬🤪

Amoon Wasn‘t worth finishing 4y
