For the first day of #12booksof2020 I‘ll tag the first 5-star book of the year. I absolutely loved this book of social criticism and the history of social media platforms.

1. 1st language is English. I have a child‘s command of German (speak/read but small vocabulary) & I know milliner‘s French. I can figure out most Spanish signage & know colors/garments from working w/Spanish speaking stitchers. Los pantalones amarillo = the yellow pants!

3. Seven thx to stir-fry veggies for the side.

4. 👍❤️😘

5. @Kaila-ann I will mail the #lpmbc book to you this coming week!

Pickpick

Social criticism of social media online over the past decades. The author analyzes the changing nature of what it means to be a person online in social spaces. My experience online makes more sense to me after having read this book. Highly recommended, especially if you've been online long enough to see popular e-spaces go fallow, particularly if you remember accessing the internet with dial-up on a family computer. Rec'd an ARC from NetGalley.

Tamra Litsy is the only social media I consume and I‘m better for it! 😁 5y

Next ebook. I feel like this is probably going to make me e-stalgic for digital spaces gone fallow, like Usenet and LiveJournal.

Chelsea.Poole Cute little babies about to grow! Love it 🌱 5y
