#BFCr4 #bookfitnesschallenge

This round has been a struggle for me. The first two weeks were okay, but since then things have fallen apart for me. I‘ve really not been able to keep up with my goals. I did meet my book goal, but that was it. My motivation has been waning these past few weeks as I‘ve been struggling with some personal issues. Thanks @wanderinglynn for leading such a great challenge! You are fantastic!

TheSpineView So sorry to hear you are struggling. Sending a virtual *hug*🥰 4d

2. The Night Circus - I did not like it.
3. Yes - I‘ve met a few. No one real famous.
4. I‘d rather be too hot. I hate being cold. It‘s cold here in KY right now and I have no heat. Brrr 🥶

Thanks for the tag Alora!

Alora You are so welcome! Thank you for reposting! Oh no! No heat is not good! I‘m in canada 🇨🇦 and our heat is not working the best either. It still works, but I need to have 2 extra space heaters going too. 😭 5d
Alora Is the lie reading romance?! 5d
jb72 @Alora YES! I‘m not a romance reader. 5d

jb72 @Alora We have propane heat which is currently empty. It is just so expensive to fill it up and it doesn‘t last the full winter. I have a kerosene heater to heat the living room during the day. 5d
Alora Hahaha yay! 😂 I don‘t really like romance either. I‘m more into thriller and horror. 5d
Alora Yeah that would definitely be expensive. I walk around with 5 blankets wrapped around me all day 😂 5d

jb72 @Megabooks Actually yes I was. I was born in Kissimmee Florida in 1972. My mother worked at the new Disney World. 5d
jb72 @Megabooks LOL well then you are in the right place! Where in KY do you live? I‘m not really afraid to drive on snow, but I have bad old tires on my Tahoe. 5d

LT's Theory of Pets | Stephen King
post image

Shortest book - this is tough. GR has many marked 1 page. LT‘s Theory of Pets is one of those books. Maybe because it‘s in audiobook format.
Longest book - IT by SK
Oldest book - The Code of Hammurabi circa 1760 BC
Newest book - Paper Girls volume 6 - Sept 25 2019

ljuliel That is one OLD book ! 6d
wanderinglynn I saw on my GR that a lot of the audiobooks (when I selected the audiobook edition) are marked as 0 or 1 page, which made me laugh. 6d
jb72 @ljuliel It was a book I had to read for a humanities class a long time ago. 6d
See All 9 Comments
jb72 @wanderinglynn Yeah I mean it‘s still being read so idk why they don‘t count the pages. Although that SK book I‘ve only found in audiobook format. 6d
ljuliel There was a big kerfuffle about audiobooks in there a few years back because they weren‘t being put in at all, or put in improperly. Page wise , probably a lot of them are still messed up. I don‘t frequent them much anymore, so I don‘t know if they‘ve resolved it or not. 6d
jb72 @ljuliel Whenever I listen to an audiobook and I mark it as read in GR I always go with whatever paper version is available. Unless it is a specific audiobook that I want to remember or mention to friends. I always like to see how many pages I read at the end of the year so in my opinion audiobooks should have page count too. 5d
ljuliel I agree @jb72 . They actually take me longer to complete than reading the print version. I don‘t know if you listen to this podcast or not, but this week, -What Should I Read Next - focused on audiobooks. It was quite a good listen ! I think ANY way a person chooses to read counts. As long as they read, it‘s good. 5d
jb72 @ljuliel I‘ve heard of the podcast, but haven‘t listened to it yet. I‘ll definitely check it out. 5d
ljuliel It‘s a pretty good one. I try to listen to it every week. I like that she covers a wide range of readers and subjects. @jb72 5d

#keeplitsyalive

This one is a bit hard for me.

1. Cover - a really good cover can capture my eye
2. Author - a good author can influence me to buy
3. Price - unfortunately

Title is of no real big influence to me.
Length does not influence me. I do not care how short or how long a book is.
Reviews - I rarely read reviews when buying a book. I‘m more influenced by my friends‘ recommendations.

ljuliel Thanks, great answers ! 1w
ElizaMarie I don't really care about length either however... Some books are too big to fit into my purse which means it will take me so much longer to finish them. I like a good book that I can carry around. (don't like ebooks) 1w

1. I pretty much love everything about Litsy.
2. I can unfollow anyone whose content is not my thing so there‘s not much I don‘t like.
3. I think switching between the blurb and review without backing out completely would be good.
4. I‘d say I try to post almost every day.

6. Something needs to be done with Apple and Litsy since the update it‘s been difficult to navigate.

ljuliel Thanks very kindly for your replies. I know the scrolling thing has been a big complaint with lots of people. I‘m hoping one or the other will fix it. I don‘t think it‘s only in Litsy. I also use Reddit, which has the same sort of scrolling type system, and it did it in there too. 2w
