This is a very cute story that ties supernatural elements of aliens and UFO‘s into a childrens book. The toys experience outer space for the first time and encounter an alien.
so-soThis is a story about a bunch of toys that get left outside overnight, and they see the stars and space for the first time. They then see a spaceship coming down and it sucks the toys up into it. The “hoctopize” alien comes out looking upset and does not see the toy it was looking for. They all have a party in space and convince hoctopize to let all of the toys go back home.
This makes me giggle every time! "Someone might get their stuffing probed!"
Seeing this boy grow a love for books even before he can read the words just makes me swell with pride and excitement! Thus us Cashel (age 4) reading "Toys in Space" to baby brother Corban on our car drive to a camping adventure. First stop was the library!
