Had my first powerlifting meet this past Sat to complete a #bfc2022 goal. I went 9 for 9 with 26 white lights, so almost a perfect meet. (There are 3 lifts squat, bench and deadlifts with 3 attempts each. You also have 3 judges for each attempt that give you a white light for a good lift or a red light for a bad lift). I also set personal bests in bench and deadlift and hit my goal of a 600lb total. It was a great meet. (Cont'd in comments)

MoMogrl This was my goal setting journal for the meet. I had to take it somewhat easy due to minor tweaks, but it was successful. On to the next. @wanderinglynn 3y

Haven't been active on Litsy this year. However, I had to share the huge progress I have had for #BFC21. The pictured book helped.

I am finally putting me first, consistently working out 4 days a week, eating whole foods and started powerlifting. Strong women unite! My goals for this month are: continue consistent workouts, walk on days I don't work out, dial in my macros, and read 10 min a day.

@wanderinglynn

LauraBrook Congratulations!!! That‘s a lot of work in every way, and it changes all areas of your life. Putting yourself first is so hard to do (struggling with it myself), and you have done an excellent job! 👍🏼🙌🏼💪🏼 4y
wanderinglynn Awesome! 🎉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Way to go! And great goals for September! 🙌🏻 4y

I loved this book as I continue my fitness journey. I am so sick of the stigma that women can't be strong and muscular because "you'll look like a man". This book breaks through that stigma and every woman should read it.

RachelAmphlett I‘ll get this. I went back to the gym working with a PT twice a week as soon as we got out of lockdown in May after being almost crippled with arthritis for 18 months and I‘m loving it! I‘m already stronger than I was 4 years ago and have just increased to three sessions per week - forgotten how much I loved weight training! 4y

I loved this book. The stories of these strong, brave women are inspiring. The writing is lovely. The photography is beautiful. I cannot say enough good things. I hope every girl who comes through my classroom reads it, whether an athlete or not.
