Another challenge catch up post. I finished this back in the summer, as my daughter is now 5 months... Time's going fast! Also why I haven't been as active on here. Anyway I recommend this as a pregnancy reference book.

Despite the smarmy narrative voice that insists on addressing the reader as "mama," this book is the most thorough, reassuring, and all round best guide to pregnancy that I read while pregnant (& beyond). I like how it keeps tests, complications, and symptoms as separate sections in the back so that you can refer to them if needed, but you aren't bombarded with everything that could possibly go wrong at every stage. Beautiful illustrations too!

So far this is fairly dense with information, and a good amount of hippie-dippie in terms of affirmations, but I like it.

I‘m a big fan of this book! It has so much great info about pregnancy, birth and postpartum. It is beautifully written and I‘m sure I‘ll be using it for reference even after baby boy decides he‘s ready to join us! 👶🏻 🤰🏻
