It is so hard for me to believe my little guy will turn ONE in 5 1/2 weeks. HOW?! 😭 I worked as an early childhood teacher (or assistant teacher) for 14 years before staying home with him so I‘m excited to start this book that is right up my alley!

This one was disappointing. It was hard to follow the plot as it slipped around quite a bit and some of the quotes between chapters left me confused ⭐️ However, finishing it up from the hammock (as little man naps!) on Day 1 of our 10 day cabin trip made the ending a little sweeter! 🌲

** book not pictured with my reading buddy ** Finished up during morning nap today! This was different from other books I normally read, but I‘m so glad I gave it a shot. The language was hard to get into at first for me, but I ended up getting so attached to Adunni and invested in her story. I wanted the best for her and enjoyed cheering her on. Check this one out! #botm ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Finished this one while my son naps on my lap this morning 💙 I started it right before he was born in August and haven‘t had much free time to read lately! This book had some interesting parts, however, it fell short for me. It was a little choppy, everything kind of fell together too neatly in places and the suspenseful parts weren‘t really suspenseful...It was okay, but not great. #botm

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This one was a little hard to get into, as each chapter is from a different point of view and during a different year, but once I started to get to know the characters a little bit I really enjoyed it! I liked trying to connect the dots of how they would come together and what was going to happen. This was an enjoyable read and I‘m so happy I finished before baby boy arrived 💙👶🏻

I wanted to love this one, but it was a little cheesy and predictable for me. It started out strong and I enjoyed getting to know the characters...but it wasn‘t all that believable and I didn‘t like how everything was wrapped up too cleanly in the end. It was disappointing because I have completely loved her latest 2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was so torn on this one. I wanted to love it because I love the selection series. But it just wasn‘t quite there for me. Some of the suspense wasn‘t suspenseful enough. Some of the story line wasn‘t realistic enough or jumped around a bit. Overall, I wanted to find out where Hollis‘ journey would take her, but it just wasn‘t believable enough for me. I wasn‘t invested in the characters or story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wanted to like this one, and I did enjoy many aspects of it, but there were too many random twists and storylines that too neatly intertwined. I enjoyed the storyline of Jess, a female reporter trying to report as a woman in the war zone. However, in the “current day” story line of this book there was too much that was not believable about how everything came together. Enjoyable, but not my favorite ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoyed this one! I have had it from the library for months, renewed it as much as possible, returned it when I needed to and took it out again. Repeat! 🔄
I really enjoyed following along with my pregnancy week by week. I am 35 weeks today so I read a little ahead so I could return the book before baby boy arrives 💙
The only thing I did not like about this book is some of the pages had really small, hard to read font. 🤓
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

kstadt929 @LiteraryinLititz Feeling pretty good, except in the last week or so the exhaustion has returned from 1st trimester and it is definitely getting harder to move/get comfy as I am now huge 🤣 I would say I‘m ALMOST to the point where I‘m over it and just want to meet my little guy! 2y

This is easily one of the worst books I‘ve ever tried to read.
My husband read this one and said it took a little while to get into - I read over 200 pages and simply can‘t read another page. I can‘t even follow what is going on, the text is choppy and everything has a weird name so you can‘t even figure out what is being talked about. I tried to get into this one, but it is just THE WORST 👎🏻 It does not even deserve 1 star.

So much heartbreak. But also so much love!
Noa gets pregnant by a German solider, her parents kick her out, her baby is taken from her and she finds herself working at a train station. She comes across a train car full of Jewish babies, takes one and flees. A beautifully wonderful and tragic story follows as she tries to save herself and baby Theo. I could not put this one down ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

✔️ Second June #BOTM completes during the month I received it!

Each running from their own ghosts, two women switch airplane tickets in the airport at the last minute. I really enjoyed how the story unraveled and liked learning more about the backstory of the characters. There was suspense to keep you guessing and keep those pages turning! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
