2 posts | 4 read | 3 to read
Ever since the curse took effect, they've called her the Sleeping Princess. But Celeste is far from asleep...Princess Celeste is even more exquisite than her beautiful sisters. But her kingdom mourns the curse that destroyed her once-brilliant mind on her sixteenth birthday. Or so they believe...The mysterious spy master is known to her agents only as Aurora. She works in the shadows, unseen, to protect her kingdom. Few have heard of her, none have seen her face.Prince William has travelled to Lanover following the whispers of the beautiful, cursed princess. One look at her beautiful face and he's captivated. He's determined to find a way to break the curse and release her captive mind. But then he discovers the mysterious Aurora. Lanover is in danger, and she needs his help to save it. Slowly William finds himself irresistibly drawn to a girl whose face he's never seen. Except something about her seems oddly familiar...In this reimagining of the classic Sleeping Beauty fairy tale, it's the princess' mind that is asleep. But sometimes appearances can be deceiving.

I love this book. I think it might be my favorite I have read from this author. The characters were so interesting, you really got to see different sides of them throughout the story. It was such a unique twist on Sleeping Beauty, one I hadn't seen before. I really enjoyed it.

Maybe it‘s because I‘m the oldest but if my youngest cousin or my brother knocked me out with a piece of wood when I was trying to keep them from doing something forbidden & then dragged my unconscious body to their illicit hiding place, my response once I woke up and recovered enough would be to beat them and possibly break an arm. I would not, as the princess in this book does, forgive & feel pity for a 14 yr old spoiled brat. What say u?

Bette I am not a princess, but I say: revenge. 🤣. Love the pup. ❤️🐶 5y
Karkar I say no mercy! Except if they were this cute dog and those eyes would get me. ❤️🐶 5y
Sleepswithbooks I‘d go straight for a jugular chop. (Puppy 💕) 5y

iread2much @Bette me too! My pup is not a princess, but he would probably not trust someone who hit him on the head with a bat. 5y
iread2much @Karkar hahaha, he is defiantly a cutie, but In the boom the princess is a spoiled brat and while beautiful, not where near as cute as my dog 5y
iread2much @Stacypatrice thank you! Me too! And thanks for the puppy love, he‘s a good boy 5y
