I feel my reviews of Ms. Goddard's books are repeating the same things, but they are all truly engrossing. Her descriptions of the surroundings, in this case snow covered mountains with a chase on skis, are so evocative you feel you are there with the characters.

This story takes you into the back country of Jackson Hole, Wyoming during the winter. Rae was always trying to measure up to her late father‘s memory. His motto seemed to be “if you see an injustice “Don‘t Keep Silent” do something about it! This was a great edge-of-your-seat thriller with some difficult topics addressed. I really enjoyed this book.

I loved reading this story because both Rae and Liam were relatable characters who were earnest in their hunt for the truth. The mystery was quite thrilling and there were moments of edge of your seat action and suspense. There were also moments of such sweet sincerity between these characters, a very inspirational meeting of minds and hearts. Overall, a compelling story that had an intriguing and suspenseful mystery at the heart of it!

Elizabeth Goddard once again delivers an action-packed, intense romantic suspense with an intricate and well-crafted plot. The chase to find the villain is full of twists and turns and the sheer brilliance in the complexity of the plot can truly be appreciated only at the conclusion of the book. If you enjoy romantic suspense, this book is a must-read for your summer reading list.
