I really enjoy reading translated work by European writers. There‘s a different quality to their tone & storytelling. Though this book is fiction, it feels semi autobiographical. The descriptions of the villages, landscapes and daily interactions are so vivid. This book is less plot driven & more philosophical. That being said, this book was not always easy reading. #MoreMehThenYeah
