O in Care of Magical Creatures NEWTs:
3.5 ⭐️

I have always been a fan of memoirs and this is a very interesting take on the genre. I really enjoyed hearing her stories and the impacts animals had on her life in every way possible. Anyone who loves animals will enjoy this. I got the overall message from the book but I don‘t see myself remembering much of the actually details.

I liked it but the ending was a little flat for me. Check out my explanation in my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2682452718

Went with a little fun non-fiction this time. It was a fun little book and taught me a lot about princesses I didn't even know existed and some new facts about those that I did know. #audiobook #scribd #historicalnonfiction #princess #royalty

So... I just updated my Goodreads to reflect all the books I want to read, but don‘t own. This means it doesn‘t include the #TBR books I have saved on #Scribd or #Libby, or the ones stacked on my shelf. 🤭

twohectobooks My goodreads tbr has ballooned to over a thousand books at this point, the vast majority of which I don‘t own. It‘s becoming a bit of a problem haha 1mo
laur89 @twohectobooks I would never consider that a problem!! It just means more choices 😄 1mo

A in Herbology NEWTs: 3⭐️

This was a fun read when you want something a bit ridiculous and weird to shake up your reading. With the whole Florida man news trend, this is definitely that idea in a book. It followed the trial of a man who stole orchids from a protected park and it showed how the results of that trial impacted his life and those involved in the issue. It was definitely a weird read and not for everyone but I‘m happy I gave it a try.

I apologize for not posting in awhile, but I did manage to finish this reading ^^. My book is for #disneyreadathon2019 #disneyathon book. I am on prompt 3 also which is the Match Maker. The ending was bittersweet but I will read the second book on my free time from my TBR‘s.

This was the 2nd audiobook I finished this week. It was the 2nd in the series. It was good but I think the motive for the crime was a little weak but I liked that they addressed postpartum depression to some degree. I didn't enjoy it quite ad much as the first but it is still pick. #audiobook #scribd #historicalmystery #historicalfiction

Finished 2 audiobooks this week. The minute I read the description of this book, I immediately downloaded it. I could have cared less what genre it was and I was not disappointed. I loved the mystery, relationships and story line. I just wish there was a sequel l. #audiobook #scribd #historicalmystery #historicalfiction #ya

This was such a well done telling of the life and lasting impact of Alexander con Humboldt. I never knew about him before reading this book but I learned about how much he had influenced many of the people in environmental history that I greatly admire. This book starts with his early life and continues through his career and worldly travel till his death; after which it is followed by the influences he had on people in the field.

Schnoebs @Birdsong28 I was originally going to use this as the audiobook but decided to use it for the prompt of a book set in South American because his biggest travels and research on what he‘s known for is from his explorations of South American. That‘s another one for #52booksin52weeks 👍 1mo
Crazeedi Oh crap, I had this from overdrive and left it go back! I need to get it and read, I heard such good things! 1mo
Schnoebs @Crazeedi I really loved it. My favorite was probably the fact that they commented on how much on an impact he had on the entire scientific community and how you see him in the research of other great people in the field 1mo
Birdsong28 👍😘📚📖 1mo
