Pickpick

I‘ll give Prosper‘s Demon a pick, but it‘s an odd one about an exorcist looking to prevent a demon from implementing a vague evil plan. Our narrator is completely unreliable and, as he himself warns, not particularly likable. Just what exactly are these demons? Are they even real? I found this book on Book Riot‘s list of best books under 200 pages. https://bookriot.com/best-books-under-200-pages

Pickpick

The unnamed (and probably untrustworthy) narrator has a calling. He can see and speak to demons, and he can cast them from a person they've possessed. He finds an old enemy possessing a member of a royal household and is persuaded to go along. For now. Plenty of room here for Parker's signature black wit and social commentary.

Mehso-so

Maybe, it was the writing style. Maybe it is my mood but I didn't enjoy this as much I thought I would...
